Two men sentenced for robbery
Two men will spend five years on probation after they robbed a man during a Facebook Marketplace setup.
Mudanar Turley and James Cornelius were sentenced Thursday to six years in prison for second-degree robbery. Clark Circuit Judge Jean Chenault Logue probated their sentences for five years and ordered they pay restitution for the victim.
The two pleaded guilty in March.
According to police, the victim met the two men near West Lexington Avenue and Breeze Hill Drive to purchase an iPhone X.
When Turley, Cornelius and a third person arrived for the meet, one of them pulled a gun and took about $600 from the victim.
Turley and Cornelius told police the third person had the gun, but did not identify him.
