Robert Odell Hill Jr., 63

Robert Odell Hill Jr., 63, husband of Marion Dickinson Hill, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

He was born on August 17, 1955, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to the late Robert Odell Hill, Sr. and Peggy Irene Wilson Hill. Mr. Hill was retired from the Department of Defense and a Kentucky Colonel. He served in the Gulf War and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, James Robert (Alyson) Hill and Kathryn Hill (Ryan) Midden; three grandchildren, Hudson Clay Midden, Emery Knight Midden and Hayes Robert Hill; and one sister, Brenda (Jim) Freeman of Tallahassee, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, James Lee Hill and Linda Hill Blackwell.

Visitation for Robert Hill will be from 4-6pm on Friday, April 12th at Calvary Christian Church in Winchester. A memorial service will immediately follow.

The family requests in lieu of flowers to please make a donation to the American Diabetes Association.
