Lights Over Lykins to commemorate July 4

As was the case last year, Lykins Park will be host to an event honoring July 4.
Lights Over Lykins, beginning Monday, July 3, at 5:00 p.m., will serve as a 4th of July celebration for the city of Winchester.
The event is free and open to the public.
Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., while activities start at 6:00 p.m.
Activities will include an opportunity to ride stuffed animals, a foam fest with a party-like atmosphere, a magic show, bounce houses, face painting, and balloon animals for entertainment.
For the foam fest, those interested in participating are asked to bring a towel.
Different food vendors will be present, including Mama D’s Eats and Treats, BS BBQ, L and L Carts, Cookies & Cream, B & T Novelties and Lemonade, Tacos Luna Y Mas, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck, Kona Ice, and Bell on Wheels.
DJ Lynn Toler will begin playing music at the pavilion at 7:00 p.m., with a fireworks show capping off the night’s events at 10:00 p.m.
Members of Rolling Thunder will honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
