In 2022 and 2023, the Legacy Nights Concert Series were big hits in Winchester.

Residents, including many music lovers, will be thrilled that 2024 shows no signs of slowing down.

The 2024 Legacy Nights Summer Concert Series, presented by Legacy Greenscapes, kicks off at Legacy Grove Park on Tuesday, May 14.

At 5:00 p.m., food trucks will begin serving attendees.

In previous years, food trucks, including Mac A Tud, The Wolves Den, Bell on Wheels, and Cookies and Cream for desserts, have been present.

The event has also featured numerous businesses – including Woods Realty and Traditional Bank – setting up booths to make themselves recognizable to the community.

Last year, various nonprofits—such as The Beacon of Hope Emergency Shelter, Kentucky River Foothills, KY Connect, Clark County Community Services, and more—were also present.

At 5:30 p.m., the music will start.

Tuesday’s performers are the Lauren Mink Band featuring Winchester’s own Lauren Mink, a Clark County Farm Bureau insurance agent.

Several other performers will also take the stage with the Legacy Night Concert Series taking place through October.

June’s performers will be The Baja Yetis who, according to the group’s official Facebook page, “serve up a funk based soul stew that is sure to get you on your feet.”

July’s performers will be Bek & The Starlight Review, who provide rock-and-roll music and hail from eastern Kentucky.

August’s performers will be Sean Whiting & The Big Badness, featuring blues and rock-and-roll.

September’s performers will be Tom the Torpedoes, a tribute band dedicated to performing Tom Petty classics.

Certainly not least, October will showcase Dark Moon Hollow, showcasing a mixture of honky tonk, traditional bluegrass, and both psychedelic and southern rock.

With room for pets and kids to play, the 2024 Legacy Nights Concert Series will surely be an event that the whole family can enjoy.
