Perdue wins statewide sheriff’s award

Clark County Sheriff Berl Perdue Jr., center, was recently presented with the Executive Director’s President’s award from the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association. The award, which was presented for the first time, was for service representing deputies and police officers across Kentucky. Presenting the award were National Sheriff’s Association President and Marion County, Indiana Sheriff John Layton, left, and Kentucky Sheriffs Association President and Pendleton County Sheriff Craig Peoples.
