Baker Intermediate gets Easter visitor

special guest hopped on by Baker Intermediate School Wednesday with a few little treats in hand.

Every Baker student participated in a reading workshop hosted by the school and the PTO.

Students at the workshop, “Hop, Hop, Hop Into Reading,” could pick out a “high quality, high interest book of choice” as well as meet and have their picture taken with the Easter bunny.

Principal Josh Mounts said it was a great opportunity for Baker students.

Assistant Principal Stacey Moore said Baker believes in literacy, so having the workshop was another way of showing that.

“We want to have our children to have lots of access to that,” Baker said. “So this is a special treat for them provided by the school.”
