Herbert Carpenter, 67, husband of Yvonne Howell Carpenter, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

He was born to Herbert and Ella Trent Carpenter on August 2, 1951 in Breathitt Co, Ky. He served in the US Air Force and retired from IBM.

He is survived by his daughter, Adair Carpenter; step-daughter Renaye Stratton and step-sons, William, “Jr” Blackburn and Anthony , “Tony” Blackburn; two brothers and three sisters; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home with visitation from noon until the hour of service. Burial in Clarmont Memorial Gardens, Winchester.
