CHARLES HENRY GOODPASTER

Charles Henry Goodpaster, 90, husband of Violet Jean Warner Goodpaster, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

He was born in Stepstone, Kentucky, on September 21, 1926, to the late Richard “Dick” and Nannie Mae Goodpaster. He was a retired owner of Goodpaster Construction and a member of Reid Village Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children, Mason Goodpaster, Rick Goodpaster, Gary (Marlene) Goodpaster, Tony (Teresa) Goodpaster and Tammy (Tim) Calvert; grandchildren, Chuck (Brenda) Goodpaster, Adam (Sherena) Goodpaster and Jason Goodpaster, Regina (Chip) Culton, Kari (Dale) Gough, Kelly (Kenneth) Fithen, Amber, Cameron, Gabriel and Chris (Tia) Goodpaster; sister, Georgie Martin; fourteen great grandchildren; family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Francis Cordell.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2016, at Christian Assembly of God by Pastor Scott Barnes. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chuck, Adam, Jason and Chris Goodpaster, Chip Culton, Dale Gough, Kenneth Fithen and Tim Calvert. Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron, Gabriel and Reed Goodpaster.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service.

ROBERT SPENCER HATLER

Robert Spencer Hatler, 23, of Winchester, beloved son, brother, grandson and friend, passed away Friday in Lexington as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident.

He was born in Winchester on October 23, 1993, to Martin and Sandy Caristo Hatler. He was a 2012 graduate of George Rogers Clark high school, graduate of the University of Kentucky, attended Transylvania University, member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a manufacturing project manager.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by brother, Jeremy Hatler, paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Walden Hatler, maternal grandmother, Inga Eborg Caristo LaBella, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Elton L. Hatler and maternal grandfather Dominic LaBella.

Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 14, at 12:30 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Frank Brawner presiding. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Ralph Caristo, Ernie Sammons, Charlie Spurgeon, Joey Smith, Raymond Borja and Aaron Dini.

Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Agatha Academy, 244 S. Main St., Winchester, KY 40391.

In care of arrangements is the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St.

DOROTHY JACKSON WEBB

Dorothy Jackson Webb, 83, widow of Virgil Browne Webb, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016, in Louisville, KY.

She was born on January 19, 1933, in Clark County, KY, to the late Edwin Joseph and Rose Reed Jackson. Mrs. Webb was a member of Southeast Christian Church and a volunteer literacy tutor for 20 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Webb McMillin of Louisville, KY; son, Randy J. (Ginger) Webb of Ft. Mitchell, KY; three granddaughters; four grandsons; six great grandsons; brothers, Paul (Ronda) Jackson of Vidalia, GA and Edwin (Angie) Jackson of Winchester, KY.

Services will be private. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

JESSE WATTS

Jesse Watts, 88, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016.

Survived by his wife, Louwanda.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11 AM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home. Visitation Sunday 6-9 PM.
