Red ribbons and red lights

Justice Elementary students celebrated Red Ribbon Week — a week to promote a drug-free lifestyle — with a mini parade Friday morning. Various members of the community who lead a drug-free lifestyle, including the city and county fire departments, Winchester Municipal Utilities, the police department and sheriff’s office and others formed a parade that wound its way around the schools parking lot as students outside cheered. A Winchester firefighter waves out the window to Justice Elementary students as the truck drives by in Friday’s parade.
