Robert Eugene Biliter, 87

Robert Eugene Biliter, 87, Winchester, Kentucky, husband of Mary Carolyn Beverly Biliter, daughter of Miles and Geneva Beverly, passed away on March 22, 2019, from a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Martin, Kentucky to the late John Caudill Biliter and Martha Cea Crisp on January 4, 1932. Bob graduated from Eastern Kentucky University and married sweetheart, Carolyn. He served his country in the Merchant Marines and in the Army Reserves. He had a rich career employed by the Federal Government as Chief of Technical Publications. Upon retirement he and Carolyn, his lifelong love, moved back to Kentucky. The last two decades were spent enjoying time with family and friends.

Bob was loved by all who knew him. He was genuinely kind, thoughtful, and deeply generous man. He lived a life of service to his country, his God, church community, friends and family. He was invested in his church and valued his time serving others as Bishop of the Winchester Ward and Branch President in Geneseo, Illinois of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He was a wonderful father and devoted husband. He was a great cook and loved nothing more than to make meals for anyone who came to the house. The tradition and time spent in meals were treasured by all. He loved fixing things, building things, fishing, and watching old cowboy movies or his favorite college sport teams. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Goodbye, My Love, Dad, Pa, Brother Biliter.
