Rotary rummage sale is Saturday

The Winchester Rotary Club is hosting its first Rotary Rummage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Campbell Junior High School.

Members of the club are selling various items from their homes, Rotary President Scott Frasure said.

“We’ll have everything under the sun,” he said.

Items might include tools, exercise equipment, clothes and more. Proceeds go into the Rotary’s scholarship programs. The Rotary currently gives out about five $1,000 scholarships and, with the proceeds, plans to expand to more than 10 scholarships.

Frasure said he hopes the community comes out to shop Saturday to help a good cause.

“We made it a priority to increase our giving,” Frasure said.
