Girls basketball

RDC’s seventh grade girls team took on Lexington Christian Academy Thursday night. The Cardinals defeated the Eagles 45-18.

The team is competing in the KBC Classic today and tomorrow. The games can be streamed live on the Apex Sports app.

RDC football

The Cardinals traveled to Cynthiana to take on conference opponent Harrison Middle for their second game of the season.

The seventh grade team lost 24-0 and the eighth grade team lost 30-16.

RDC plays again on Thursday when Scott County comes to town. The seventh grade will play at 6 p.m. and the eighth grade will play at 7:30 p.m.

GRC boys soccer

The second scheduled game of the week for the boys soccer team was the second game of the week that got cancelled due to inclement weather.

They are set to take on Conner today at 1:30 p.m. at the GRC Soccer Complex.
